Cherry Bowl

Eric Mah

Born and raised in Chicago, Eric Mah received his first woodworking experiences in his Lane Tech High School shop classes. He continued his passion for woodworking through the Chicago Park District woodshop at Norwood Park and the Chicago School of Woodworking.

Today he maintains a studio shop in Evanston where he creates various items from wood, leather, and other materials. Currently he is concentrating on woodturning using locally harvested and found wood. Other interests include beekeeping and photography. On a personal level he is married with 2 sons and continues to run his electrical contracting firm Gim Electric.
