As an introvert, the world always feels busy in the mind. Even when no one is around and there are no sounds, daily life can feel heavy. The most comfortable feeling for me is when I am in my own space surrounded with positive energy; sometimes that is in a room with all my favourite people and sometimes it is when I close my eyes. That is the emotion I felt when I painted this piece. It was neither lonely nor empty, just comforting.
